Reasons

Oh my goodness! Crazy funny!

justforlaughsgags:

The Gags Need YOU to join the Army!

In this prank we separate two loved ones, then reveal who we are and ask them to join the Canadian Army and leave for Afghanistan the very same day. The actual army could use this “join the army for a prank, it will be funny” tactic, they could get tons of new recruits this way.

Social Animal? Here are some other places where you can interact with the Gags!

Pet Peeves on Personality Traits

5 top personality traits that really bug me and my angle on the trait:

1. Know-it-all - I may have a problem but that doesn’t mean I want all of your good wisdom on the subject at once. Sometimes I just want you to cry with me and not try to fix the problem so you can help me rush through the pain.

2. Complaining - Do you think you are the only one that has issues with particular people or things? And that no one could possibly disagree with you? Or is your line of thinking that I want to hear your dislikes and likes? Sometimes I do, but not in the form of whining and complaining. Start with the man in the mirror.

3. Harsh judgments over things that don’t require that kind of harshness - This list includes, harsh judgements on people who dress different, look different. Or different food, different systems, different methods. All of which do not bring a fight to your doorstep at all. You were just observing them as you passed by. Look the other way for pete’s sake!

4. Busy-body - As my mom says, “People love to have information just so they can say they know something.” And as I say, “You wouldn’t have known I could get so irritable and mean if you hadn’t pushed.” If you treat people as an encyclopedia of information just waiting for you to read and exploit, stop. Try using the information you have about individual people to just help them. Their information, unless they share it or give you permission to do so, should only be an asset to that particular person.

5. Self-centered - This for me, means ‘in their own bubble.’ Not necessarily that they only think about themselves but they only reach out and talk to people in their own group. This is the dangerous kind of self-centeredness because it may not look like it but self-idolatry is written all over. If it is your goal to be nice but not accepting, to be generous but not to everyone, to smile but only to those you think are normal, you may be self-centered. Not just narrow-minded but self-centered.

Confrontation

The problem with confrontation is becoming the thing you’re confronting.

Liar, bigot, judgmental, mean, manipulative. Not so black and white, is it?

Abortion

I think abortion is murder. I think abortion is wrong. But part of what makes it wrong are your reasons for aborting.

Indomitable

I’ve always read about those with indomitable characters. People such as Martin Luther King Jr., Harriet Tubman, or Susan B. Anthony. And I wonder if I have the same type of character. Because if I did I would use it. I’m not trying to change the world or anything. I just want to be strong enough to stand by my own convictions when it seems like everyone, even people I don’t know, would like to strip it all away from me. Control freaks.
